Happiest of hump days to y'all. This fall is speeding full steam ahead - leaves are turning lovely shades of gold and crimson and the nights are chilly enough for jackets and blankets! Add the smell of woodsmoke (which I've yet to sniff) and I will be the happiest gal... To me, fall is like a huge party before the quiet of winter - the best holidays: Halloween and Thanksgiving are in the fall; the warm colors of autumn in the maples and mums just take my breath away some mornings as I drive into work. There's football all weekend and a reason to bust out the crock pot - it just doesn't get any better! Did you know that the ancient Greeks believed fall and winter were caused by Demeter's angst at losing her daughter to Hades for half the year? To give thanks to P&H, allow me to tease you with yummy eye candy dear hearts....Mmmmmm!

It is difficult to believe that the entire tale takes place in less than twenty pages!
