Walk With Me by @CardenoC #REVIEW #AUDIOBOOK #ULTIMATEINDULGENCE

Walk With Me, Cardeno C.,
Home #7
When Eli Block steps into his parents’ living room and sees his childhood crush sitting on the couch, he starts a shameless campaign to seduce the young rabbi. Unfortunately, Seth Cohen barely remembers Eli and he resolutely shuts down all his advances. As a tenuous and then binding friendship forms between the two men, Eli must find a way to move past his unrequited love while still keeping his best friend in his life. Not an easy feat when the same person occupies both roles.

Professional, proper Seth is shocked by Eli’s brashness, overt sexuality, and easy defiance of societal norms. But he’s also drawn to the happy, funny, light-filled man. As their friendship deepens over the years, Seth watches Eli mature into a man he admires and respects. When Seth finds himself longing for what Eli had so easily offered, he has to decide whether he’s willing to veer from his safe life-plan to build a future with Eli.

AUDIO REVIEW:
This review is for the audiobook version of the book. Please see below for my review of the ebook version.

This is the first book that I have listened to by Alexander Collins and his voice was perfect. He did such a great job with Eli and Seth, bringing them to life and making me fall in love with them all over again.

The way he did Seth's voice while explaining all of the different weddings, one disaster after another with such disbelief was phenomenal. He got Seth's steady, calm persona, while bringing Eli's enthusiasm and over the top flirting to this narration flawlessly.

This reader will definitely be added to my buy list.

Ebook Review:
Beautiful, Romantic, Must Buy!

“Every human being is made in the image of God and he makes no mistakes.”

LOVED Eli as soon as he showed up on the page. He made me laugh so hard I had tears in my eyes. And poor Seth had no idea how to handle it. Eli is young and brash and so eager to experience everything. His personality jumped off the pages and pulled you right in.

Seth may have been a little more reserved but he was no less engaging. I loved the way that he tried to guide Eli but never tried to change him. The time that he took to figure out who "he" was, was authentic and believable. The uncertainty that he felt made sense.

Watching these two build a friendship and grow together through that relationship was captivating and I could not put this book down. The author took me through the years of their lives and made them so real. One of the most beautiful books I have read, and also one of the funniest. I don't know the last time that I laughed so hard, from one catastrophe to the next.

This book has everything you could ask for in a romance and then some. I could not recommend a better read if you are looking for something with a genuine, romantic feel.

Remind me to never have Seth officiate anything....weddings, plays, everything ends in a hilarious disaster.

RATINGs: 5 Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries for both versions. This book was given to us by the author. Many thanks.
