Review
I've read/ listened to many Vanessa Vale historical erotica, and she knows how to write it well. This series is set in a fictional town with unusual marital practices. This book is the second in the series and is deliciously scandalous. With more subservient women of that time period, the premise was easy to sink into... and then relax and let the tingling begin!
The entire book was sexy, sexy, sexy though I thought book one was better. This story just didn't give as much detail or provide enough insight into the couple's chemistry. I guess I wanted more in order to get to know them better. And based on the title "Taming Tessa", I thought she would put up more of a fight. She was a little too easy on Cole.
Again, despite the change in narrators from book one, I liked the female narrator but didn’t care for the male voice as much. But it was okay.
If you aren't afraid of erotica and are looking for a spicy audio book, Taming Tess is a great selection. Its quick, steamy and oh so delicious.
