This was my favorite of the series....so far! I am a huge fan of the fake relationship trope.
If ever a person needed someone to hug them and tell them they are good enough, it's Lamont Price. For someone to seem so very together and confidant he was consumed with inner demons. Lamont could have very easily become the "woe is me" character, but the author made him so real that you can't help but fall in love with him.
Tyler was such an interesting character, I don't know that I have read about someone in his profession who really had no guilt about what he did. It was very refreshing to read about a porn actor who was very comfortable doing his job.I was also a big fan of his family dynamic and can't wait to read about the Dixon, Kelly/Bryant clan getting together for holidays.
Speaking of the Kelly clan, Robert plays a bigger role in this book than the last few, but I seriously fell in love with Debbra. That ice cream scene was perfection!
The scenery is almost a third leading character in this story, more so than even the first book for me. I could almost see the photographs in my mind as I was reading about them. If only a place like Lavender Shores really existed....what a wonderful place it would be.
