This is the fourth review this week for Immortally Yours. Since it was this month's Book Club Selection, we each read it and give you our take on the book. I can definitely see where our personalities and preferences came out this time on how we enjoyed the book. We each liked it but had very different experiences with it. So with no further ado, here's my review...

Angie Fox pulled me in from the start with this engaging story. I did feel the stop and start a few times as the scenes didn't seem to flow along for me seamlessly but I was engaged in the characters. I found myself nearly enjoying the secondary characters more than Petra and Galen but I suspect I'll be reading the next book in the series and will see them again so that's a good thing. There was definitely much humor which is a take-it-or-leave-it for me (I'm the more serious one in our group) but what seemed lacking to me was the romance (I'm also the one in the group that leans most heavily on the romance). The author has started out a new series that I look forward to reading more of.RATING: 4 Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries
