Thinking Keegan Flaherty is clearly insane, Marty refuses to believe a word until a kidnapping makes her realize there's more at stake than just her highlights. And she must put her out-of-control life in the hands of the man who makes her blood run wild in more ways than one...




Review:

When I received the email from book club saying we were going to rock it old school for our book this month and read The Accidental Werewolf by Dakota Cassidy I immediately jumped on the groupie bandwagon and picked up this book and I was not disappointed! What a fun read!

Marty is a Bobbie Sue cosmetic rep who is determined to be successful and has turned her enthusiasm of looking great into a career. Becoming a werewolf is not on her list. Sky blue convertible….yes. Werewolf…..definitely not!

She has recently recruited Nina and Wanda to help reach her goal of becoming a lavender. While the three of them are out walking Muffin, Marty’s teacup poodle one night Marty is bitten by a “dog”. And this is where the fun really begins.

Keegan aka gorgeous werewolf knocks on Marty’s door a few days later as she is wondering why her color wheel colors have suddenly changed and why she has to shave twice a day and needs an emergency hair color….could he have picked a worse day to drop by? He tells her he is the one who “accidentally” bit her and she is now a werewolf……well there goes my color wheel....a lot to handle for a vegan who can no longer wear the lavender she has been dreaming of and all of a sudden has a craving for red meat.

Unfortunately, being bitten by a werewolf is becoming the least of Marty’s problems. Someone wants her dead. As Keegan tries to talk Marty into trusting him to help with her transition to werewolf, he takes on the task of finding out who is behind the attacks on her.

This book has good secondary characters and a great combination of comedy, romance and suspense.
