High octane from beginning to end!
Unexpected Rescue, Silvia Violet
Shrapnel from an explosion tore up Jackson’s leg and ended his career as a Navy SEAL. Being forced into the civilian world was bad enough, but being told he’s crazy is intolerable. No matter what the doctors or anyone else tells him, he knows a supposed ally was responsible for his injury, and that same man is determined to shut Jackson up for good.
When Jackson sees a kayaker clinging to his boat from the balcony of his beach house, his instincts tell him something dire is about to happen. Jackson rescues the injured man and insists on hiding him until a former SEAL teammate arrives. As Jackson struggles with separating reality from soul-shattering flashbacks, the injured man’s compassion and growing trust tear down his barriers, and Jackson begins to wonder if his heart is as dead as he’d assumed.
REVIEW:
Whew....hold on because when you start this book there will be no putting it down until it's done! I was only a few pages in and already completely invested in Jackson.
Jackson is broken, or so he thinks. Trying to put his life and body back together after having to leave the SEALS because of an injury Jackson isn't sure what's real and what's just in his mind.
Addison was just out kayaking when his life is turned completely upside down, and he is not sure if the hot man that he can't take his eyes off of is rescuer...or kidnapper.
This fast paced, non-stop thriller packs a punch for a small package. Engaging characters and exciting story line will have you saying, "MORE PLEASE!" And seriously if Sport doesn't get his own story I will lay down and cry. So please, please, pretty please with a dildo and lube on top tell me you have a story in mind for Sport!
If you like your men heroic with a bit of crazy then Jackson is your man and Unexpected Rescue is your book!
RATING: 5 Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries. This book was given to us by the author. Many thanks.
