Son of a Fish by @thekenziecade @dreamspinners #REVIEW

Son of a Fish, Kenzie Cade, Dreampisnner Press
Mended 2014 Daily Dose Anthology
Sam Crowe lives a quiet life. He's a freelance journalist and sometimes fiction writer. His world is turned upside down when love lands on his doorstep—literally, while cursing up a G-rated storm. Son of a fish, indeed. Casey Sanders doesn't know whether it’s good luck or bad when he slips and falls on the icy steps of his apartment building, but the hero who comes to his rescue is worth the discomfort.

Their attraction is instant, but Sam is certain Casey's flirtation and kind words are a result of the pain medication. But Casey is persistent and won't give up until he has what he wants. And what he wants is Sam.

REVIEW:
This is a super quick lunch time read, but the author gave her characters more depth than some full length novels I have read.

Sam comes to Casey's rescue and Casey couldn't be happier about breaking his ankle. A quick trip to the hospital, some slipping and sliding on ice and these two could be their way to a happily ever after.

Well written and definitely one that I would re-visit if the author decided to do a follow up with these characters, if for no other reason then to read more of Casey's unique way of cussing. You will walk away from this novella feeling satisfied but craving to know more. This first time author is off to a great start and I for one am looking forward to more!
