Fly me to Scotland Friday
The Trouble with Kilts by Kam McKellar
Riley Brooks’ life is in a tailspin. With divorce papers shoved into her suitcase, she takes off for a much needed vacation to Scotland to see her cousin Lucy wed Ian MacLaren. Highland romance is in the air, but she wants none of it. Neither does Jamie MacLaren. The Scottish farmer is pissed off and bitter, and wants to be left alone. But when Riley’s ex-husband shows up at the castle to reopen old wounds, misery loves company, and Riley and Jamie join forces with a little Scottish whisky to ease their hurts, and maybe open their hearts…
It has come to my attention that I am vacationing in the wrong place. Clearly Scotland is the place to be. This is a fairly short stories so I don't want to give it all away but it's fabulous. Definitely perfect for a cozy weekend read. Grammy Lin also poses a very important question…. What do you have going on under that kilt? And "The I can't believe you just did that" award goes to Riley's ex Mark for going above and beyond the call of stupidity.
I give this book 4 chocolate dipped strawberries and some Scottish whiskey.
PEACE
