Home for the Holidays by Jeaniene Frost
They were looking forward to a normal holiday—at least as "normal" as it gets for vampires Cat and Bones and their otherworldly friends and family. But their yuletide plans are shattered when a mysterious stranger shows up and reveals long-buried secrets that threaten to take a bite out of their holiday cheer … and lives.
Happy holidays to me! I got a book to read by Jeaniene Frost. I had the joy of meeting her back in the spring and she was lovely.
As always I loved this book. We celebrate Bone's birthday, Thanksgiving and Christmas in true Cat and Bone's fashion. I immediately giggle a few pages in when the story reads..."I leapt off the ladder and carried it as noiselessly as I could to the closet". If you have ever tried to carry a ladder noiselessly you know this isn't going to happen. Another thing that just doesn't happen every day is spending Thanksgiving day in a strip club looking for demons. Black Friday now has a whole new meaning.
And in the end two vampires and one demon ally together. It's a Christmas miracle!
I love talking about books as well. I shall stop by more often.
