Hot Damn! Hot Head! #Audiobook #REVIEW @DamonSuede Sexy #Firemen!

April showers bring May flowers. The weather is heating up and so are we! Join us every day this week for our homage to hot, hunky fireman - who doesn't love a man in uniform? The Indulgent Bloggers chose April as Fireman extravaganza - a week of assorted fireman stories so hot, you'll wish you had a sprinkler system!

Hot Damn! I listened to Hot Head (Head #1) by Damon Suede on audiobook. It should've come with a warning... something like "Contents May Be Hot When Turned On" because Charlie David, the narrator, took Suede's already steamy story and made it combustible.

BLURB
Where there's smoke there's fire. . .

Since 9/11, Brooklyn firefighter Griff Muir has wrestled with impossible feelings for his best friend and partner at Ladder 181: Dante Anastagio. Unfortunately Dante is strictly a ladies' man and the FDNY isn’t exactly gay-friendly. For 10 years, Griff has hidden his heart in a half-life of public heroics and private anguish.

Griff’s caution and Dante’s cockiness make them an unbeatable team. To protect his buddy, there’s nothing Griff wouldn’t do… until Dante is nearly bankrupt and proposes the worst possible solution: HotHead.com, a gay-porn website where uniformed hunks get down-n-dirty… Now Dante wants them to appear there— together.

Griff may have to guard his heart and live out his darkest fantasies on camera. Can he rescue the man he loves without wrecking their careers, their families, or their friendship?

REVIEW
There are thousands of reviews out there for this book so nothing I could say would be new but I just had to give this audiobook specifically a shout out (and 5 chocolate-dipped strawberries) because it is now on my favorites shelf.

The friendship and camaraderie, the emotional -but not overly angsty- struggle, the personal discovery, the connections and secondary characters, and of course the love between these two men... all of these things melded together to create the perfect story. Then there's the sex... my, oh my, the chemistry was unreal. Who needs one fireman when you can have two? Just be careful... do not operate heavy machinery while listening to Hot Head on audiobook!

ABOUT DAMON SUEDE
Damon grew up out-n-proud deep in the anus of right-wing America, and escaped as soon as it was legal. He has lived all over and along the way, he's earned his crust as a model, a messenger, a promoter, a programmer, a sculptor, a singer, a stripper, a bookkeeper, a bartender, a techie, a teacher, a director... but writing has ever been his bread and butter. He has been happily partnered for over a decade with the most loving, handsome, shrewd, hilarious, noble man to walk this planet.

Damon is a proud member of the Romance Writers of America and the Rainbow Romance Writers. Though new to gay romance fiction, Damon has been writing for print, stage, and screen for two decades, which is both more and less glamorous than you might imagine. He's won some awards, but counts his blessings more often: his amazing friends, his demented family, his beautiful husband, his loyal fans, and his silly, stern, seductive Muse who keeps whispering in his ear, year after year..

Damon would love to hear from you.... Get in touch with him at DamonSuede.com.
