Since I Found You, is Book Two in the New York Sullivans series, technically - but book sixteen in the Bella Andre Sullivans world. For readers who have followed this large well connected family of siblings and cousins across the country from California to Washington, Maine and now New York, returning to the Sullivans is like a return to your family fold. Only everyone is beautiful, and talented, and wonderful and they all love each other. Which shouldn't deter the reader because the stories are rich and the characters are really, fully developed and the romances deliciously anticipated.

Suzanne Sullivan and Roman Huson are sparks flying and circuits connecting from first glance. As per her usual trope, Roman has extensive internal dialogue, self loathing and non-stop fear of being not good enough for the Sullivan he denies feelings for and yet, somehow in this story, it doesnt seem to be as overwhelming. Perhaps because Suzanne is such a fighter. Perhaps because Bella Andre manages to craft a story that carries the reader through those points to get to the romance, the steamy fan-your-face hot stuff. And there's plenty of that. Like, a whole bunch. And once Roman's heart cracks, his love is all consuming and makes the reader cheer for their HEA til they cross the finish line. The added benefit of seeing other Sullivan couples along the way enhances the strong familial connections and watching Alec's outrageous behavior sets up the reader to wickedly anticipate his own downfall into love (no doubt he will go kicking and screaming the whole way!)

Eve Kaminsky does an outstanding job narrating the story - breathing life into both male and female characters and keeping a pace that helps move the reader through the extensive internal monologues and narrative world building pieces. Her pitch is perfect during dialogue scenes and captures the sexy sensuality of the romance scene.
