Here we go again …

Just when it seems life at Mythos Academy can’t get any more dangerous, the Reapers of Chaos manage to prove me wrong. It was just a typical night at the Library of Antiquities — until a Reaper tried to poison me. The good news is I’m still alive and kicking. The bad news is the Reaper poisoned someone else instead.

As Nike’s Champion, everyone expects me to lead the charge against the Reapers, even though I’m still hurting over what happened with Spartan warrior Logan Quinn. I’ve got to get my hands on the antidote fast — otherwise, an innocent person will die. But the only known cure is hidden in some creepy ruins — and the Reapers are sure to be waiting for me there …




I admit I'm a loser. I fell behind. I don't know how it happened but soon as I discovered my error I started reading it immediately. And by immediately I mean I finished it in 2 days. As always I loved this book just as I have loved the rest. It's thrill to see who is going to turn out to be a Reaper (anyone got any thoughts on the coffee cart lady?). Considering the amount of mythology that I read you would think that I would be used to this by now but it would drives me crazy the way the gods and goddesses play games. If were some of these characters from these books I'd flip them off and move on. They give you impossible tasks and these little clues and tid bits of info along the way that is suppose to guild you if you're smart enough to figure it out(I would be toast). It doesn't help that they make it impossible for you to say no to doing their bidding. Ok, rant over. I have recommend this series to several people and all have loved it. You will too! HINT....if you need a holiday gift for a female young adult reader this would rock.




I give this book 4 chocolate dipped strawberries and a new coat for Gwen. Seriously the purple plaid one had got to be worn out by now.
