Andy’s latest investigation sends him to Ken’s ranch where he poses as a ranch hand. Ken is a prime suspect, but Andy refuses to believe Ken is guilty, in part because Andy is falling for him. Ken knows Andy isn’t who he seems, but he can’t bring himself to push the man away. When Ken hears rumors that someone is using his land to move drugs out of the city, he worries that it’s Andy. Neither man can trust the other even though that’s exactly what their hearts tell them to do.

WOW....I had to put my Nook down a couple of times and step away because I was afraid it was going to burst into flames! The chemistry between Ken and Andy is off the charts combustible! The want and the need that these two men have for each other pulsates from the pages.
Ken has a hard time trusting. When you have been burned by your family, the people that you should be able to trust wholly, it makes it almost impossible to let down your guard. But there is something about Andy that calls to him and makes him want to take a chance.
Andy has been working undercover for to long. His last assignment broke bad and he still hasn't gotten over it. Dealing with PTSD and an almost suicidal attitude is not a healthy way to start an new job but he is determined to catch the man that eluded him before. He wants the job done but walking away from Ken may break him quicker than the job ever could.
Silvia Violet brings theses two broken men together and then makes them get real. Their feelings are hard and at times violent but they both give each other exactly what they didn't know they needed.
If you are looking for light and funny and sweet...this is not the book for you but if you want something real and gritty and visceral then yeah you are going to want to grab this one! The characters are fully dimensional and the story is fast paced and well written. This one is a keeper!
