Unexpected Trust by @Silvia_Violet
Special Agent Hugh Cranford, better known as Sport, is conducting an off-the-record investigation. He’s after Danny O’Sullivan, a spy rumored to have assisted in the ambush of Sport’s former SEAL team. Danny claims he and Sport are on the same side, and the real traitor is the man Sport is working for. But Danny is a master manipulator. He’s also the most seductive man Sport has ever met. Sport can’t help being attracted to him, but that doesn’t mean he’s willing to trust him.
In his quest to bring down a few highly-placed traitors in the US government, Danny O’Sullivan has been keeping tabs on Sport. When Sport comes looking for him, Danny decides to bring Sport in on his secret mission and into his bed. Sport may not trust Danny, but he wants him. As the two men risk their lives to complete Danny’s mission, they discover neither is as strong as they like to pretend.
INTENSE -From the action, to the story, to the characters, and most definitely the sex, it was intense from beginning to end.
Sport was one of those characters, for me, that as soon as he showed up on the pages of Unexpected Rescue I wanted him to have his own book. He is a character that stays with you and you just want to know more about.
Danny was intriguing from the start and you knew when he and Sport came together it was going to be explosive. You never knew if they were going to punch or fuck each other from one minute to the next and I loved every minute of their powerful chemistry.
The story it's self is full of painful memories for all the men involved and continues the story line that is established in the first book. No one really knows how high up the betrayals go, but you can bet that these men won't stop until they find them.
Jackson and Addy are back and in the thick of things. And you know that Jackson couldn't wait to give Sport a hard time about Danny....paybacks are a bitch buddy. LOL
In perfect Silvia fashion, another character has been introduced that she gives you just enough information to wet the whistle and make you go "I have to know his story". So I end this review with a question...When Ms. Voilet are we gonna get Simon's story???
RATING: 4 Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries This book was given to us by the author. Many thanks.
