Relentless by @AnnaWel07914287 #REVIEW #BOOKCLUBREVIEW

Relentless, Anna Wells
The Marsh Brothers #1
The last thing Michaela Prentice expected was to end up in bed next to her friend Jordan Marsh after a wee bit too much champagne. The sex was incredible but she doesn't want their one night to ruin their friendship.

The last thing Jordan Marsh wants is to remain friends with Michaela. They’d crossed the line from friends to lovers and that was where he was going to stay, after all he’d been relentlessly plotting her seduction for months.

Now Michaela has woken up to a slight hangover, a relationship with a guy she thought she knew, a mother planning a wedding, and a brother and a best friend who think it’s important to run a background check on your new man. What could be more normal?

Just as Michaela is beginnings to adjust to the status of their new relationship things start exploding; literally.

Warning: This book is funny, steamy and contains sex scenes with chocolate that some readers might find delicious.

REVIEW:
Brrrr. It's cold outside. Take my advice: Curl up with a good book and settle down for a long winter's read. Looking for a "New-To-You" author? Try Ms. Anna Wells. She's cooking up some treats steamy enough to make you forget you're trapped in February's clutches.

Friends to lovers - classic premise. Billionaire brothers, alpha males who don't take "No" for an answer - always a good bet. Combine the two and you have the makings of the Marsh Brothers series. Book one, Relentless, delivers the goods with Jordan and Michaela's sexy romance. Perhaps the most amusing part was watching Michaela go from completely oblivious that 1) best friend is hot, 2) best friend is into her and 3) best friend is a billionaire, to falling in love. And she goes kicking and screaming. I'm not sure what freaks her out more - that she falls in love despite a past of infidelity and trust issues or that he failed to mention personal details of his life after a year of fairly close friendship. Nevertheless, the progression from friend zone to sexing up the bedroom/kitchen/etc. makes for some seriously enjoyable reading.

A decent start to a solid series, I am very much waiting for book two as Wells delivers more Marsh brothers for readers to salivate over!

RATING: 3.5 Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries.  This book was given to us by the author. Many thanks.
