I have been sucked down the rabbit hole!
The Chase Series # 2
Liam Collins is in way over his head. He’s been hired to act as the face of the hermit author, Chase Preston, by attending events and interacting with the fans. At first, it doesn’t sound that bad at all.
But Chase can’t seem to keep his hands to himself. And Liam can’t stop himself from getting turned on. Is Liam merely Chase’s play thing? Is this the real reason he was hired?
The more Liam struggles to resist the sexy author, the more curious Liam becomes. Who is Chase, really?
A little harmless snooping is about to put Liam in a lot of danger.
This book picks up right where Being Chase left off.
Chase is still brooding and mysterious and Liam is still adorably clueless.
I find Chase completely intriguing. I can relate to Liam's obsession to know more about him because I find myself feeling the same way. Just when we think we have seen a chink in the emotional armor that Chase surrounds himself with, the snarky smirk comes out.
The author has created characters that are fascinating and have substance beyond what I originally thought. After the first installment I wanted to know more, but after this one I HAVE to know more. What could have been a nice addition to what felt like a Beauty and the Beast adaptation has evolved into a complex story that is mysterious and full of sexual tension.
I am eagerly anticipating the next installment!
